<\/p>\nWe all realize that God\u2019s mysteries will be revealed to us only after we cross the Great Threshold of death and are immersed in His love, wisdom and joy –\u00a0 and not any earlier.\u00a0\u00a0 At the same time, since we were created in His image, and because He takes pity on us, even we, common sinners, seem to be sometimes granted intimations of God\u2019s nature through experience of out own. True, what we \u201csee\u201d now is presented to us \u201cas if through the veil, not clearly\u201d. Frankly, I think we are unable to take in more than those rare glimpses..<\/p>\n
The mystery of existence of Holy Trinity \u2013 One God in three Persons \u2013 presented problems even in antiquity.\u00a0 St Cecilia, a Roman martyr who died with her neck slashed for her faith, has been reportedly found with face turned away from those who were killing her, yet her hands extended. In one hand one finger was extended, in the other three. Her blood flowing from the neck, unable to utter a word, she was speaking of her faith in the Triune God.
\nEven human love can become a research tool.<\/p>\n
Have you ever held a small child in your arms, looked in its eyes, felt the warmth of the little body – and suddenly felt overwhelmed with love so potent and rich that it seemed to be not a feeling, but a Person?<\/p>\n
Or have you ever sat beside someone and while talking, you suddenly realized that there is no need for words any longer because the understanding\u00a0 and desire for\u00a0 Wisdom was flowing between you two speechlessly?<\/p>\n

Or, seeing human suffering \u2013 someone hurt and in desperate need, you\u2019d rush to help and suddenly you\u2019d run into another \u201cresponder\u201d. Without a word of command from anyone you both begin to act in unison, driven by the same urge that originates in your hearts strangely united in Mercy. All you both care about is to save this unknown brother or sister that God put on your path \u2013 and you almost read each other\u2019s minds because this is given to you so that you, too,\u00a0 could be like One.<\/p>\n
Such moments are unforgettable and we carry them in our hearts and memories for years. It is very important to go back to such memories again and again.\u00a0 They become source of strength in days of darkness, when the Veil becomes too thick and we wonder if\u2026
\nThese memories also allow us bear our own cowardly and silly ways with greater patience.
\nThey remind us that the day will come when we shall see the Unity of Three \u2013 God the Father, Son the Christ and the Holy Spirit and we shall be embraced, loved and filled with wisdom beyond our present understanding.<\/p>\n
