This ancient enemy always begins with changing our basic focus \u2013 away from God and God\u2019s will – to our will. The desired harmful object\/situation is magnified, made much more desirable, alluring, colourful, or invincible than it is in reality. It is a typical advertising tactic. We all have seen ads of those face creams which turn an old woman into a twenty year\u2019 old, the medications which makes an arthritic man jump like a youth, shiny cars that drive up steep hills covered with six feet of snow… The impossible \u2013 the ads says – may become possible \u2013 for YOU. At a price \u2013 but who really thinks about such trivial things as price?<\/p>\n
